First Aid

I encourage you to train in first-aid if you have not tried it already.
First-Aid training in my experience can be a very enriching experience, both technically and on a more human level.

Civil protection of Paris

If you live in Paris, France, I advise you to go visit the web-site of the Civil Protection of Paris.

In 1995 I received the AFPS Certificate of Formation to First aid, and a patent which does not exist anymore, the BNPS National patent of First aid.

In 1998 I passed a series of physical and technical examinations to earn my ambulance drivers licence.

American Red Cross

If you live in the United States, and like to swim, I highly recommend the American Red Cross for life-guard/water safety training.

In 2003, I obtained two certifications from them. They were:
- Lifeguard Training and First Aid, which is valid for 3 years.
- CPR, CardioPulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer, which is valid for 1 year.
